Advancing Road Safety Through Data - The EU Road Safety Cluster’s joint paper

The EU Road Safety Cluster proudly presents its joint paper on advancing road safety through data.

This paper is a collective initiative of eleven EU-funded projects, highlighting key challenges, solutions and policy insights related to road safety data. The Cluster’s joint work demonstrates that meaningful progress in road safety can only be achieved when data ecosystems become more integrated, interoperable, transparent and ethically governed.

The paper was presented by the projects of the Cluster at the RTR Conference 2026.
